Ok, Argentina had zero, zip, nada, nil shots on goal for most of the final against Spain, but they held on to a shutout for about two hours. Spain wins 1-nil… and it was pretty physical, testy, and exciting. And long,too. There was a big advance–maybe even a concession to American audiences–in that there was a great ‘halftime’ show that featured Madonna, Bieber, BTS and lots of singing and dancing that should make the the other football guys–the NFL–take note: this is how to do a mass appeal halftime show.
