UPDATED 10am, Nov. 5: Latest vote count shows DSA-backed Nithya Raman slowly but continually growing her her lead over failed Mayor Karen Bass. In results released minutes ago, Raman now holds a nearly 35,000 vote lead.
It’s a repeat of the Mayor’s contest of four years ago, only the names have been changed, and no one is innocent. Then it was Caruso winning election night only to have Bass grow her votes overnight, now it’s Raman growing the votes over Bass.
Raman has a lead of about 25,000 votes and growing ever so slowly, Here is what the Recorder’s Office reports.
