By Jeff Vaughn Hollywood Burbank Airport has cut the ribbon on its new terminal — with passengers getting their first chance to use it next week.
The $1.3 billion replacement terminal will officially replace facilities dating back to the 1920s.
The new terminal includes 14 gates, new restaurants, shops, ticketing security checkpoints and baggage claim.
The new terminal is close to Metrolink service.
The signature feature… is a sweeping roof canopy designed to evoke a Hollywood silver screen.
