The LA Department of Emergency Management says:|
An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for the City of Los Angeles beginning Friday, October 2 through Thursday, October 8. Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 100 degrees in Downtown Los Angeles, 90 degrees at the coast and 105 degrees in the valleys are forecasted during the day. Very hot temperatures are likely to continue into the second week of October.
The heat will peak on Saturday, October 3 for most areas.
