New Rules, New Minimum Wage For Security Guards?

Could happen as state pols consider a bill–backed, of course, by the SEIU–that would bring training and pay rate changes to the security guard business.  As KCRA TV reports, there is some pushback–from reps of the security guards, warning that the increases could make security guards unaffordable, as has happened in the fast food industry. When government mandates costs that businesses can’t sustain, hiring is impacted in a negative way. This is a developing story.
