Published reports say the FBI is responding to the red-hot rumors revolving around the disappearance–or death–of at least 10 scientists and staffers involved in high-security research. The individuals worked at JPL, Los Alamos National Lab, among potentially other facilities, and among the missing is Maj. Gen. William McCasland, who disappeared from New Mexico this year.
