There is definitely heightened awareness of the possibility of attacks in the United States. A report specifically about California-were reported by ABC News. They said: “Iran allegedly aspired to conduct a surprise attack using unmanned aerial vehicles from an unidentified vessel off the coast of the United State Homeland, specifically against unspecified targets in California”. NBC then refuted the reports saying “There were no specific threats of Iranian drone attacks being planned against California, five law enforcement sources familiar with the reports told NBC News Wednesday,” Read more here
Of course NBC reported that Gavin Newsom is on alert to protect us. His office emailed, “The Governor’s Office of Emergency Services is actively working with state, local and federal security officials to protect our communities.” So we have that going for us.
