Even President Trump does. Still, AM radio is somehow disappearing from cars, especially newer, electric models–a curiosity since AM radio is not just a great place to get relevant news and discussion, but to get vital information in case of emergency. Now President Trump is getting behind a movement to be sure AM radios are always present in cars–the AM Radio For Every Vehicle Act, making its way through Congress. Seems like a no-brainer, right? A new poll says 71% of Americans consider their car radio vital and over half wouldn’t buy a car without one.
