The legendary singer-songwriter Carly Simon, famed for her iconic hit “You’re So Vain,” has publicly revealed her Parkinson’s disease diagnosis. Simon made her revealing statement to People Magazine, linked below. After undergoing an extensive medical evaluation at the Mayo Clinic due to worsening mobility issues, she learned to navigate the progressive disorder in private. Alongside her movement struggles, the 83-year-old artist also bravely faced treatment for basal cell carcinoma, a form of skin cancer on her face. Despite these profound health battles, she found deep solace in her craft and continues to create, announcing her brand-new album, Comes in Waves.
