LeBron Leaves Lakers, Becomes Free Agent

By Jeff Vaughn

LeBron James’ time with the Lakers is over. Multiple reports say James has informed the team he plans to become a free agent and finish his NBA career elsewhere.

James, a four-time NBA champion, is reportedly talking with the Cleveland Cavaliers where he began his NBA career as the first pick in the 2003 draft. James is from Ohio.

The Lakers are now expected to build their future around Luka Doncic as a new era begins in Los Angeles.
