Coffee consumption doesn’t guarantee a thriving café scene. Santa Ana and San Bernardino ranked first and second for adults consuming ready-to-drink coffee, yet San Bernardino finished only No. 94 overall. Los Angeles ranked 98th for coffee shops and cafés per capita.
