California Expansion Watch — Juanita’s Foods is doubling down on Southern California.
The 80-year-old food company has acquired a 120,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Santa Fe Springs. It will become Juanita’s primary production facility, replacing its longtime Wilmington operation and giving the company additional capacity to grow.
No purchase price or new-job number was disclosed.
Unlike some expansion announcements, this one appears to be private-sector investment rather than a California taxpayer-subsidized project.
