The Los Angeles GOP has released its online 2026 Voters Guide, and is urging voters to use it to help make their choices in the now-underway election process. This year’s ballot not only has candidate elections, but also propositions–43, the Taxpayer Protection Act, 40, the Wealth Confiscation Tax and 39, Voter ID– that will impact your quality of life-so it is not hype to say ‘vote like your life depends on it’.
From the LAGOP Press Release:
Roxanne Hoge, Chairman of the Los Angeles County Republican Party (LAGOP), today announced the launch of a customizable voter guide designed for the hundreds of races and measures facing Los Angeles County voters on the November 3, 2026 ballot.
The free tool is available at VoteDifferentLA.com in English, in Spanish, and in Cantonese. Voters
simply enter their registered address; the guide then generates a personalized list of endorsements,
recommendations, and positions for the contests in that specific precinct.
Hoge described it as a practical resource for anyone prioritizing good governance, public safety, fiscal responsibility, and livable communities. It also includes party endorsements and positions on statewide propositions.
Hoge also used the announcement to address common misconceptions:
• Write-in votes for certain offices (including LA Mayor) are not counted as valid under
election rules and can cause the entire ballot to be recreated by hand.
• Leaving races blank or overvoting does not “send a message”—it simply cedes those
contests to organized groups and those who complete every ballot.
“You don’t have to be a registered Republican to use this guide or to vote for common-sense
candidates,” Hoge said. “Anyone who wants safer streets, better schools, and more affordable
living should take ten minutes, pull up VoteDifferentLA.com, and fill out their entire ballot.”
Voters can also print a customized summary to take to the polls or share with neighbors.
